Selecting a Realtor is a very important part in the decision to sell your home. Although all Realtors have the same license, that’s like saying all drivers have the same license. That does not make them equally qualified. I’m not here to “toot my own horn”, but I am applying for a job - the job of selling your home. Therefore, I believe you should know my qualifications.
A lifelong resident of Hall County, I taught school and was a business owner before becoming a Realtor. I graduated magna cum laude with a Master’s Degree from Brenau University, majoring in Math Education.
I have been a Realtor for seven years. Each year, I have ranked in the top 50 Prudential agents statewide (out of more than 1500 agents). For the last four years, I have been in the top 20, with 2006 ranking at number 2 in the state and in 2007 ranking at number 10 in the state. I am a five time recipient of the national “Chairman’s Circle Gold” award given to the top 2% of Prudential agents nationwide.
On average, I sell 60-70 homes per year. In 2006 I sold 75, which was 20 more than the next leading team in my office (a team of 5) and six times what the average agent sells. Even with a down market in 2007 I sold 36 and received the award for Top Listing and Sales agent in the Gainesville office.
I have a full time assistant, Lisa Polanco, who has a degree in graphic design. Lisa is a licensed agent who is extremely capable of handling any aspect of my business in my absence. My marketing program is very aggressive, and having Lisa ensures that the marketing is done in a systematic way. While I am working with buyers and sellers, the daily work of marketing your property is being done automatically, so I won’t miss deadlines, open houses, or updates of your property information.
Remember, anyone can tell you what they will do to sell your home, but the proof is in the numbers. Ask this question of each agent you interview, “How many homes did you sell last year?”
